About

Born in Massachusetts, within the Bridgewater Triangle, in 1984, Matt(he/they) is a poet, astrologer, teacher, letterpress printer and co-owner of Salient Tooth Press, and a father. They are the author of Strangers at the Event Horizon (Gesture Press and Journal, 2015), which they co-wrote with their partner Kristen. Matt’s poetry and essays have appeared in several anthologies, journals, and web zines.

Matt has taught at Bristol Community College with the Upward Bound Program and currently teaches Literature and Composition at Georgian Court University, Monmouth University, and Brookdale Community College, as an adjunct professor all along the Jersey Shore.

Matt is an MFA graduate of Naropa University’s Jack Kerouac School of (Dis)embodied Poetics.
